Senior outsourced estimators pick up the tender on day one: waterline and sewer takeoffs, pipe quantity calculations and schedules, bid tabulation, subcontractor comparisons, and a structured handover pack, all delivered in the in-house template the senior team already uses. The senior team picks up at pricing on day two.
Outcome
Senior estimators now start pricing on day two instead of day six. Bid throughput went up 30% in the first quarter without adding headcount, and win-rate improved on the pursuits that previously would have been rushed or dropped.
